Quoting a spokesperson Carmag reported that he died of Covid-19 complications, at a Pretoria hospital. Van Zyl, who was born in Springs in Gauteng in June 1958, had a long career with the auto manufacturer - having started at Toyota South Africa Motors in 1993 as the director for the sales and dealer network, Carmag reported. He was appointed CEO of Toyota SA in 2003. A decade later, he was promoted to become CEO of Toyota in Africa. According to reports, Kashani, a certified pop sensation since his debut nearly 30 years ago, apparently caught COVID-19 while hospitalized and receiving treatment for liver problems. Born in 1974 in Rome, Italy, Kashani—his first name is sometimes transliterated into English as "Shahrum" and his nickname among fans was "Shahram K"—released his first album, K-One, in 1992. Senior Judicial Magistrate of Jhalokathi district in southern Bangladesh Mosammat Sania Aktar has died of Covid-19. According to report published in Dhaka Tribune, the 28-year-old breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital (SBMCH) in Barisal at around 10:30am on Wednesday. Sania, who was also seven months pregnant, tested positive for the deadly virus on July 12. Sania was born on August 1, 1992, in Hoglakanda village under Araihazar upazila in Narayanganj.
