An Iranian producer Fereshteh Taerpur 69, who was famous for her children’s films, died due to coronavirus. She was released from a Tehran hospital two days before her death, however, she was hospitalized again when her condition became critical, and shortly thereafter she died, Persian media announced. She was one of those Iranian personalities who made many efforts to convince medical officials to provide COVID-19 vaccine for Iranian cineastes.  Majlis speaker, culture minister, director of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, and many other officials have issued messages of condolences over Taerpur’s death. Kazem Mohammadi, Footballer

Former futsal player Kazem Mohammadi passed away from COVID-19 on Tuesday at the age of 48 in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Reports said that he was invited to Iran national team in 1998 for the first time and helped the Persians win AFC Futsal Championship six times. In 1999, he was named as top goalscorer of the 1999 AFC Futsal Championship with 18 goals, reported Tehran Times.

Shahram Kashani, 47, Iranian pop singer has died after contracting Covid-19 in Istanbul, Turkey. According to reports,  Kashani, a certified pop sensation since his debut nearly 30 years ago, apparently caught COVID-19 while hospitalized and receiving treatment for liver problems. Born in 1974 in Rome, Italy, Kashani—his first name is sometimes transliterated into English as "Shahrum" and his nickname among fans was "Shahram K"—released his first album, K-One, in 1992. Kashani came to prominence in part through support from other Iranian celebs like Los Angeles-based singer Leila Forouhar, but his fame among Iranians was long-lasting thanks in part to his on-stage and on-screen charisma.

Narges Khazaei, Table Tennis Player

Iranian para table tennis player Narges Khazaei died from covid-19 on Saturday. She died at the age of 48 In Iranian city Mashhad. Khazaei represented Iran at the 2008 Paralympic Games. She was a member of Iran para table tennis team for about 20 years. The number of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic in Iran increased to 88,532 with 259 more Iranians killed by the deadly disease over the past 24 hours, bringing the total deaths to 88,532, Tehran Times quoted Iran's Health Ministry as having said.
