He was admitted at Fortis Hospital, Noida, on June 7 and was kept on ventilator for 15 days, according to hospital authorities and close relatives of the victim. The hospital has given a bill of over Rs14 lakh to the kin of a Covid victim who was admitted at the facility for 20 days. The Gautam Budh Nagar district administration has said that it will look into the matter. The family took possession of the body on June 29 against a legal declaration on a Rs10 stamp paper to pay the negotiated amount, one of the relatives said.   Dr Hu Weifeng ‑ an urologist who was treating patients at the Wuhan Central Hospital where Covid-19 was originally identified ‑ passed away on 2 June 2020 after a four-month fight with Covid-19. He made headlines in March, when his skin turned black "due to liver dysfunction" during his treatment. The exact cause of his death has not been made public but the news has triggered an outpouring of anger on Chinese social media sites. He tested positive for the virus in January, during the early stages of the Chinese outbreak, and was transferred to different hospitals for treatment the following two months. Dr Vasudeva Rao, 54, an Indian dentist in Kuwait, died from the novel coronavirus on May 9, 2020.   He was the country's second medical professional to succumb to COVID-19, according to a media report.   Dr Rao passed away in Jaber hospital where he was undergoing treatment for coronavirus infection, news website timeskuwait.com reported.   A resident of Kuwait for about 15 years, Rao worked as an endodontist at Kuwait Oil Company, a subsidiary of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, a government-owned company.   Rao was a member of Indian Dentists' Alliance in Kuwait, an organisation of Indian dental professionals in Kuwait. The organisation mourned his loss.
