In 1967, at the age of 25, he won the silver medal at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada. A year later, Fernando Sandoval had the honor of being part of the Brazil team that finished 13th in the Olympic Games in Mexico.

Throughout her career, she collaborated with many well-known anthropologists, such as Bernard Arcand, Serge Bouchard, José Mailhot, and Rémi Savard. In 2009, Vincent received the Prix des Dix for her remarkable, personal contribution to the history of the First Nations of Quebec.
