Robert Heiner Garff ‑ an American businessman and politician who served as chair of the Ken Garff Automotive Group – died of Covid-19 on March 29, 2020.   He also served as the speaker of the Utah House of Representatives from 1985 to 1987.   Garff was born on September 15, 1942, the son of Marjorie Heiner and Kendall D. Garff. He attended the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1966 and an MBA in 1967.   The Ken Garff Automotive Group is a large car dealership conglomerate, founded in 1932 by Bob's father. Lorenzo Acquarone –an Italian lawyer and politician – succumbed to Covid-19 on 24 March 2020.   Born in Ventimiglia, Acquarone graduated in law and became a lawyer and university lecturer. As a member of the Italian People's Party, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for three legislatures. In 2002 he participated in the formation of the new political entity called the "Margherita" or Democracy is Freedom - The Daisy, but in September 2003 decided to leave the party to join the Popular-UDEUR.   On 27 December 2007, Acquarone was awarded the Knight Grand Cross Order of Merit of the Italian Republic - uniform ribbon.   Acquarone died at the age of 89 on 24 March 2020 due to COVID-19 in Italy.

Before his political career, Rabino was a trade unionist, active in Alessandria's Coldiretti branch.   Rabino died from COVID-19 at the Cardinal Massaja Hospital in Asti on 12 March 2020.
