Hendrikus Johannes Paulus Overgoorโ€“a Dutch footballer who played as a left back โ€“ passed away on 23 April 2020, due to complications from COVID-19 in Amsterdam, aged 75. . He was born in Gendringen, Netherlands. He played for Go Ahead Eagles from 1963 to 1965 and for De Graafschap from 1965 to 1979. With De Graafschap he won the 1968โ€“69 Tweede Divisie. He was nicknamed De Kapper (The Hairdresser) because he came from a hairdressing family.

Martine Crefcoeur, actress

Martine Crefcoeur โ€‘ a Dutch stage and film actress – passed away on 18 April 2020 after contracting Covid-19 in Rotterdam. He was 84. Born in Rotterdam, Crefcoeur attended the Lyceum there. During her education at the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts, she became the leading actor, playing Anne Frank, in The Diary of Anne Frank at Toneelgroep Theater. After she graduated, she continued working with the theater company from Arnhem for five more years. Later Crefcoeur worked for, among others, Nieuw Rotterdams Toneel, Ro Theater, and theater group Bonheur. She was the leading actor in the theater series The Family by Lodewijk de Boer and also in the 1973 film The Family. In the nineties she gave lessons at Jeugdtheater Hofplein in Rotterdam.

Kishen Bholasing–a Surinamese-Dutch singer and percussionist – died on 12 April 2020 after Covid-19 infection.   Bholasing has been called one of the best interpreters of the Baithak Gana of his era. Bholasing played the Dholak and was lead singer in the formation Kishen & Friends. Sebastianus "Bas" Adrianus Wilhelmus Rudolfus Mulder (17 July 1931 – 10 April 2020) was a Dutch-Surinamese Catholic priest. Mulder was born in the Beugen district of the town of Boxmeer in the Netherlands. As a missionary of the Catholic Church, Mulder moved from the Netherlands to Suriname in 1959. After Surinamese independence in 1975, he also received Surinamese nationality. He would live there for 50 years, his entire active life. Mulder was known as a 'youth priest' and as a 'media priest' appearing on Radio Apintie and since 1966 STVS. Frederik Arnoldus "Frits" Flinkevleugel –a Dutch footballer who played as a right back – died on 10 April 2020 after contracting Covid-19.   Born in Amsterdam, Flinkevleugel played for DWS and FC Amsterdam. He won the Dutch championship in 1964 with DWS.   He also earned 11 caps for the Dutch national team between 1964 and 1967.   Flinkevleugel owned a cigar shop in Amsterdam. He died of COVID-19 on 10 April 2020, aged 80.

Henricus Johannes Bernardus "Harry" Aarts โ€“a Dutch politician โ€“ died due to Covid-19 on 25 March 2020.   He served in the House of Representatives for the Catholic People's Party and later the Christian Democratic Appeal from 23 January 1973 until 1 October 1993.   Aarts was born in 's-Hertogenbosch on 9 March 1930. After attending primary and high school in the same city he studied political science at the Catholic University Nijmegen between 1949 and 1955. Aarts was a member of the municipal council of 's-Hertogenbosch from 1 September 1953 to 2 September 1958. After working at the Heineken brewery for two years he was organisation advisor at the Association of Netherlands Municipalities between 1959 and 1965.
