Reinaldo Albernás – an obstetrician and gynecologist at Hospital San Rafael de Alajuela, Alajuela, Costa Rica – passed away due to COVID-19. He was 54 years old.
He was the first Costa Rican to suffer from COVID-19. 45 days later he became the sixth fatality in the country.
