Reinaldo Albernás – an obstetrician and gynecologist at Hospital San Rafael de Alajuela, Alajuela, Costa Rica – passed away due to COVID-19. He was 54 years old. Dr Hamza Pacheeri, 80, an Indian-born retired gynecologist from Birmingham Dr Hamza Pacheeri, 80, an Indian-born retired gynecologist from Birmingham in the United Kingdom, died from COVID-19 on April 1, 2020. Dr Hamza, a British national, was a native of Perinthalmanna in Kerala, India, and he graduated from Government Medical College in Kozhikode. He worked in several hospitals across the UK and was known as a very sociable and helpful person who would go to great lengths to help the community. Hamza was undergoing treatment for complications from coronavirus and died at City hospital in Birmingham on April 1, 2020.
