Matthew Moore – a Radiologic Technologist at GoHealth Urgent Care, Staten Island, New York – passed away on 17 April 2020 after suffering from COVID-19. Moore was 52 years old.
Matty was born on October 29, 1967 and spent his childhood making memories living first on Foster Road and then he moved in 1977 to his residence on Amboy Road. Matty was a parishioner of St. Joseph- St. Thomas Parish where he attended grammar school and was an altar server.
He attended St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, N.J., where he played soccer and received several awards for track. He served as an altar server at the first ever dedication of the Resurrection Cemetery where he also went to work as a grounds keeper in his teenage years.
