María Esthela de los Dolores Martínez Molina – a Nurse at Hogar de los Abuelos, Cuenca, Ecuador – passed away on 27 March 2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Molina was 92 years old.
Orellana confirmed that the 92-year-old woman died from the virus, but also from some respiratory problems and pneumonia due to her advanced age.
