Davinder Pal Singh ‑ a 43-year-old senior journalist with the PTC Punjabi TV channel who had tested positive for Covid-19 ‑died in a private hospital on June 20, 2020. Singh, a resident of Phase-10, was suffering from post renal transplant complications when he was hospitalised on June 13 after testing positive for Covid-19. However, even though he was released after recovery, Davinder Pal Singh was admitted to hospital again on June 29, 2020 after a cardiac arrest, and died the next day. The administration has counted him among Covid-19 fatalities.
