Amadou Gon Coulibaly ‑ Ivory Coast's Prime Minister ‑ died on July 8, 2020, in the city of Abidjan. ''I am deeply saddened to announce that Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly left us in the afternoon, after having taken part in the Council of Ministers," JeuneAfrique quoted Patrick Achi, secretary general of the Ivorian presidency as saying. "Ivory Coast is mourning," Achi said. The Ivorian head of state Alassane Ouattara also expressed his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. Coulibaly, 61, returned to Ivory Coast on July 2, after two months in France for medical check-up. Dr Dimitris Kremastinos Dr Dimitris Kremastinos ‑ a Greek politician who served as an MP ‑ died after suffering from COVID-19 on May 8, 2020. He was 78. Greece’s former health minister, cardiologist and university professor Dimitris Kremastinos was a widely respected doctor who became a household name in Greece as the personal physician of late Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou in the mid-1990s. He was admitted to Athens’ Evangelismos hospital on March 26. He died on May 8 after being in the intensive care unit for COVID-19.
