Francisco Marín – a Physician, Director of Health at Municipality of Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina – passed away on 2 April 2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Francisco was 61 years old. Initially, he had refused to be admitted to a clinic. When he was diagnosed as positive by coronavirus, he preferred to recover at home, but when the condition worsened, he was rushed to the Femechaco sanatorium. Before becoming director of Health, Marín worked as a doctor in special schools in the interior of Chaco and in Resistencia, integrating technical teams.
