Richard Kesner – a Nurse at CareOne at The Highlands, Edison, New Jersey – passed away on 27 April 2020 after suffering from COVID-19. Richard was 46 years old.
Kesner, 46, who lived in Woodbridge, died five days later on April 22 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He had continued to work long hours during the pandemic even though he had asthma, which put him at greater risk. A doctor told him his lung condition may have been rooted in years of working in a warehouse and breathing in dust before he changed careers, following his sister into nursing.
