Gulbek Erkilic – a Chief of Security at Uludag University Hospital, Bursa, Turkey – passed away after suffering from COVID-19. It was reported on 27 April, 2020. Gulbek was 52 years old.
The 52-year-old Deputy Head of Eğitim-Bir-Sen No.2 Branch and football coach, who was the Security Unit Manager at Bursa Uludağ University, died from corona virus. Erkılıç, who stated that he was treated at Uludağ University as a result of the positive corona test he made on the social media post on April 4, was able to resist the corona for 22 days. It was claimed that the plasma, which was urgently sought for Erkılıç, was found 20 days later but was late.
