Adelita Ribeiro da Silva – Lab Technician in Goiânia, Brazil – passed away on 4 April 2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Adelita was 38 years old.
The patient was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital on March 30, where she has been undergoing treatment ever since.
The Union of Workers of the Unified Health System in the State of Goiás (Sindsaúde-GO) lamented the death of the professional. According to the organization, Adelita was a municipal servant and worked at Cais Novo Mundo and Hemolabor.
