Alberto López Castro – an Anaesthesiologist at IMSS Hospital General Regional No. 1, Chihuahua, Mexico – passed away after suffering from COVID-19. It was reported on April 20.
Dr. Alberto López Castro died of coronavirus when he was treated at the Morelos Hospital for kidney failure, worsening his condition by contracting the virus.
The renowned anesthesiologist worked at the IMSS, and it was in the same clinic that he lost his life.
