Catalin Barbulescu – a Thoracic Surgeon at Spitalul Universitar de Urgenta Bucuresti, Bucharest, Romania – passed away on 18 April, 2020, due to COVID-19. Catalin Barbulescu was 65 years old.
“Our colleague Dr. Catalin Barbulescu passed away last night. Our thought is to follow this good man permanently from now on. The Emergency University Hospital suffers today the first loss in this fight with the times”, the hospital announced on its Facebook page of the medical unit.
