Juraci Augusta da Silva – a Nurse at Hospital Municipal do Tatuapé, São Paulo, Brazil – passed away on 27 March,2020, due to COVID-19. Juraci was 70 years old.
A 70-year-old nurse who worked to contain the coronavirus pandemic died with suspicion of the disease. According to co-workers, even though he was in the risk group, Juraci Augusta da Silva continued to exercise his profession to save lives.
Juraci worked at the Tatuapé Municipal Hospital, in the East Zone of São Paulo.
