Roberto V. Anastacio – a Cardiologist in Makati, Philippines – passed away due to COVID-19. He was 79 years old.
“We remember and mourn a colleague, Dr. Roberto Anastacio, who once chaired the Cardiac Graphics Section of the Philippine Heart Center before eventually moving to the University of Sto. Tomas as member of the faculty and consultant of the same university as well as of Makati Medical Center. He too fell prey to this dreadful COVID virus while in confinement at MMC. We weep with the family as we entrust his soul to our Lord, the Almighty,” said the Executive of the University.
