Zafar Rasheed Bhatti – a Pakistani journalist . died on 27 April 2020 at the age of 70 in Islamabad after contracting coronavirus.
Bhatti joined Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) in 1984 after having worked in Pakistan Press International and Nawaiwaqt.
He remained associated with APP until 2010. During his association with APP, he worked as chief reporter of the news agency and served as president of the APP’s employees’ union.
