Ana Cláudia Monteiro – an Ophthalmologist in Divinopolis, Brazil – passed away on 8 April 2020 after suffering from COVID-19. Ana was 46 years old.
The patient was under treatment for 21 days, according to Semusa. There are still no details on how she would have contracted the coronavirus and if she had any comorbidities.
