Pedro Marin Esquirol – an Emergency Medicine Doctor, Neurosurgeon at Hospital San Juan de la Cruz, Úbeda, Spain – passed away after suffering from COVID-19. It was reported on 30 April 2020. Pedro was 47 years old.
"How unfair life is, that made him come from so far to a lost regional hospital in Spain, to end up like this damn virus," commented a colleague shortly after hearing the news.
