Juan José López Lerena – a Nuclear Medicine Specialist in Montevideo, Uruguay – passed away on 1 April 2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Juan was 61 years old.
López Lerena, who suffered from hypertension and diabetes, was also technical director of Avanzada Ophthalmological Technology, an outsourced service of the Spanish Association, and fulfilled tasks at CASMU.
