Iranian politician Mohammad Alavi Tabar‎, also known as Kiyavash– died on 10 March 2020. The Iranian politician was born in 1930 in Zanjan. He was a follower of jurisprudential Islam. Mohammad Alavi Tabar served as a member of the Iranian Parliament representing Ahvaz between 1980 and 1984, representing Abadan between 1984 and 1988. Mohammad Alavi Tabar died from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on 10 March 2020. His funeral was held on 12 March.

Mohammad-Reza Rahchamani –an Iranian physician and reformist politician – succumbed to Covid-19 on 9 March 2020. From 1984 to 2000, he represented Sabzevar in the Iranian Parliament. During the early 2000s, he headed Iran's State Welfare Organization. Rahchamani was born in 1952 in Sabzevar and studied medicine. There is no record of imprisonment for him before the Iranian Revolution, and he is not an Iran–Iraq War veteran. Reza Mohammadi Langroudi, cleric

Reza Mohammadi Langroudi –an Iranian Twelver Shi'a cleric of the rank of Ayatollah – died on 7 March 2020 after suffering from coronavirus. He served as representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the town of Langroud. Reza Mohammadi Langroudi was a student of Hossein Borujerdi, Ruhollah Khomeini and Mohammad-Taqi Bahjat Foumani. During the 1979 Islamic Revolution, he played an influential role in the marches. For a time, he was the temporary Friday imam of Langroud and Amlash. Langroudi died at the age of 91 as a result of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on 7 March 2020.

He also was a member of the Seventh Islamic Parliament of Iran and previously the Iranian ambassador to Syria. Sheikholeslam was Assistant to the parliament Speaker Ali Larijani for the International Affairs.
