Nasser Shabani, militaryman

Nasser Shabani ‑ an Iranian general and senior commander of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) – succumbed to Covid-19 on 13 March 2020. He took credit for using Houthi rebels to target Saudi oil tankers. Shabani began his military career in 1982 during the Iran-Iraq War. He participated in suppressing the Amol uprising the same year. In the final year of the Iran-Iraq War, he was promoted to become one of several fronts of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He played a key role in Operation Mersad, and later wrote several books about the war. Iranian politician Mohammad Alavi Tabar‎, also known as Kiyavash– died on 10 March 2020. The Iranian politician was born in 1930 in Zanjan. He was a follower of jurisprudential Islam. Mohammad Alavi Tabar served as a member of the Iranian Parliament representing Ahvaz between 1980 and 1984, representing Abadan between 1984 and 1988. Mohammad Alavi Tabar died from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on 10 March 2020. His funeral was held on 12 March.

During the early 2000s, he headed Iran's State Welfare Organization. Rahchamani was born in 1952 in Sabzevar and studied medicine.
