He remained in power from 1971 to 1975.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In 1974, he was re-elected State Deputy and kept his post from 1975 to 1979.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In 1978, he was elected State Deputy for the third consecutive time. His third tenure lasted from 1979 to 1983.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In 1982, Alencar was elected State Deputy for the fourth and last time.
