Marco Guananga Mayorga – a General Practitioner at Hospital Coto Nicolás Infante, Vinces, Ecuador – passed away on 25 March, 2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Marco was 69 years old.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

He worked as a doctor in the Vinces prison and the Coto Infante hospital. He was born in Guano and was always proud of his roots. The doctor, who traveled daily from Guayaquil to attend to his patients in Vinces, leaves a legacy of love, humility and responsibility.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

"His family and colleagues from his faculty will remember him for his jokes, stories and good humor," recalled his daughter Diana.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
