{"id":7807,"date":"2020-06-16T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-16T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/personmatters.com\/Remembering_Covid_19_Victims\/?p=7807"},"modified":"2020-06-16T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-06-16T00:00:00","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/personmatters.com\/Remembering_Covid_19_Victims\/?p=7807","title":{"rendered":"Sikiru Osinowo, politician"},"content":{"rendered":" <figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/personmatters.com\/Remembering_Covid_19_Victims\/wp-content\/uploads\/imageholder\/uploads\/Sikiru_Osinowo.jpeg?w=810\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-750\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n <p><p>Sikiru Osinowo aka pepperito \u2011 the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in Nigeria \u2011 passed away on June 15, 2020, after contracting coronavirus-related illnesses.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The deceased had been placed under isolation to prevent a possible spread after contracting the virus.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Osinowo&rsquo;s death was confirmed by one of his family member, Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Dele Osinowo.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Commiserating with the Osinowo family over the loss, All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos Chapter, described the deceased as a leading light during struggle for the revalidation of June 12.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>According to the party, Osinowo was a strong pillar and a stabilizing force at the Lagos State House of Assembly where he served the state before been elected to represent Lagos East senatorial district at National Assembly.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The party, in a statement by its Spokesman.
