Pedro Di Marco \u2013 a Cardiologist at Hospital Universit\u00e1rio Pedro Ernesto, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil \u2013 passed away on 22 March 2020. Pedro was 65 years old.<\/p>\n

He was hospitalized with the flu on Thursday (19) at Hospital S\u00e3o Vicente de Paulo, in Tijuca. Having other diseases, he was isolated and tested for Covid-19.<\/p>\n

At Pedro Ernesto, the cardiologist came to occupy the functions of Director of Technical Services and Head of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Sector.<\/p>\n

Hospital S\u00e3o Vicente de Paulo said it is awaiting the result of the Covid-19 exam, performed by Lacen-RJ. “It is only possible to state whether his death was motivated by the new coronavirus, after this report,” said the hospital.<\/p>\n
