Palermo Wilson Cruz Acuria – a General Practitioner at Clínica Palermo, Guayaquil, Ecuador – passed away on 15 April, 2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Palmero was 62 years old.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

 His relatives remember him as a human being with a “big heart”, since from his Palermo clinic, on 17th and Maldonado streets, southwest of the city, he often attended low-income people free of charge and delivered medicines in the sector. With a vast career between Ecuador and Argentina, Cruz was an outstanding surgeon. "He is already in a better place, his cycle ended here, helping many people," said his son Wilson.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
