Lynsay Coventry – a Midwife at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, Harlow, Essex, England – passed away on 2 April, 2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Coventry was 54 years old.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In a statement, Lance McCarthy, chief executive, The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, said she was "a long-standing member of our maternity team who will be remembered for her professionalism and commitment to the women she supported."<\/p>\r\n\r\n

He added: "Her loss will be felt by the maternity team and colleagues from across the organisation."<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent, chief midwifery officer for England, said: "Lynsay was clearly a highly regarded midwife whose dedication to women, babies and their families will be remembered and cherished by her own family and her colleagues – my deepest thoughts are with them, her children, grandchildren, parents and siblings."<\/p>\r\n\r\n
