Dr. Elisa Mar\u00eda Amaya de la Cruz, 43, of the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) in Coahuila, Mexico, died from COVID-19 on April 5, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne more doctor from the IMSS Clinic 7 in Monclova identified as Elisa Mar\u00eda Amaya de la Cruz died around 5:30 on April 5,\u201d a post by her relatives on social media highted. It demanded proof of COVID-19 to the deceased doctor as the relatives were told that by the Institute that she only had pneumonia. She was also not facing any difficulty in breathing when they “handed her over to the care of IMSS staff”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
