Dr. Edmond Adedeji, 62, a doctor in the Emergency Department at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, Wiltshire, United Kingdom, died in the intensive care unit of the hospital in which he worked after testing positive for the coronavirus on April 8, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great Western Hospital in Swindon, Wiltshire, described the 62-year-old as a \u201crespected and well-liked member of the team\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement, his family said: \u201cWe as a family are grateful to God for the life of Dr Edmond Adefolu Adedeji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe died doing a job he loved, serving others before himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe would like to thank the staff and his colleagues for looking after him during his final days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe leaves behind a wife, three children and three grandchildren.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Adedeji worked as a locum registrar in the emergency department of the West Country hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
