Héctor Bornes – a General Practitioner at Hospital Angel Marzetti, Buenos Aires, Argentina – passed away due to COVID-19. It was reported on April 23. Hector was 56 years old.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

After learning that he had the virus, the 56-year-old professional moved to the Ramón Carrillo Rural Hospital in San Vicente. However, <\/strong>after complicating the picture, he was transferred to the Cuenca Alta de Cañuelas, with serious respiratory difficulties, in the one born in Carlos Casares where he finally died.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

“Once again the tragedy of the pandemic hits us in Sanvicentinos. Now it is about Dr. Héctor Bornes, husband of Dr. Silvia Marelli, affected by COVID-19. Those who are on the front lines of this invisible enemy are those who continue to give their lives for all, ”said the official part of the Municipality of San Vicente on Facebook.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Bornes graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of La Plata more than three decades ago, was a basketball lover.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
