Jeffrey Baumbach – a Resident Nurse at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Stockton, California – passed away on 30 March 2020 due to COVID-19. Jeffrey was 57 years old.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

A nurse who worked at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton died this week from complications of COVID-19.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Lodi News-Sentinel first reported that Jeffrey Baumbach, 57, died from the disease Monday (March 30). His wife, Karen, a registered nurse case manager at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, also tested positive for the coronavirus and has been in quarantine at her home for the past two weeks.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

St. Joseph’s Medical Center is a Kaiser Permanente partner hospital. Corwin Harper, senior vice president and area manager for the medical care consortium’s Central Valley branch, told The Stockton Record via email on April 3 that they were in mourning over Baumbach’s death.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

“We share the grief and extend our condolences to his family and friends on the loss of their loved one, who dedicated his professional life to helping patients and families manage their medical needs,” Harper said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
