Melujean Ballesteros – a Nurse in London, England – passed away on 12 April,2020 due to COVID-19. Melujean was 60 years old.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Melujean Ballesteros, who is originally from the Philippines, died at Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Her son, Rainier, said his mum, who loved her job", had a fever and a cough before her condition worsened.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

She was admitted to the hospital on 28 March and died on 12 April.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

A spokesman for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, which runs St Mary's Hospital in Pread Street, said: "We are very sad to confirm the death of one of our nurses, Melujean Ballesteros, who worked at St Mary's Hospital from 2002.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

"Melujean was well known across the hospital for her kindness and compassion.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

"She made a big impact on the lives of her colleagues as well as her patients, she will be greatly missed."<\/p>\r\n\r\n
