Aleksey Aristov – the Deputy Chief for Surgery at Hospital #33, Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia – passed away due to COVID-19. It was reportedon April 28, 2020. He was 62 years old.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region David Melik-Huseynov on his page on social networks said: "Alexey Ivanovich Aristov, deputy chief physician of the doctor of the Nizhny Novgorod city hospital No. 33, passed away. A true professional and Man.
\r\nDr. Aristov contracted a new coronavirus infection, fulfilling his medical duty , being at the forefront in the fight against the deadly virus. Unfortunately, despite all the efforts of our fellow doctors from Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg and Moscow to save Alexei Ivanovich is not remoteness.”<\/p>\r\n\r\n

“A huge loss for the Nizhny Novgorod medical community and for all of us. I express my deepest condolences to the relatives and friends of Dr. Aristov and grieve along with everyone who knew, loved, respected and appreciated this wonderful person. Eternal memory to him!" it added<\/p>\r\n\r\n
