Fernando Sandoval a Brazilian water polo player who competed in the men’s tournament at the 1968 Summer Olympics died on May 1, 2020, after suffering from coronavirus in S\u00e3o Paulo. He was 78.\r<\/p>

Fernando Sandoval was born in the capital of S\u00e3o Paulo, on November 18, 1942. He began his career in swimming pools before moving to water polo, a sport that won him over, at the age of 16.\r<\/p>

\r<\/p>

In 1967, at the age of 25, he won the silver medal at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada. A year later, Fernando Sandoval had the honor of being part of the Brazil team that finished 13th in the Olympic Games in Mexico.\r<\/p>
