Dick Farrel, 65, a former Newsmax host and pioneer of the shock jock genre, died on Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Florida, from complications relating to Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to getting sick, Farrel wrote on Facebook that Dr Anthony Fauci was a \u201cpower-tripping lying freak\u201d, mocked vaccines and referred to the pandemic that has taken more than 600,000 American lives as a \u201cscamdemic\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His close friend Amy Leigh Hair said that Farrel had written to her from the hospital begging her to get vaccinated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe texted me and told me to \u2018Get it!\u2019 He told me this virus is no joke and he said, \u2018I wish I had gotten it!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His partner Kit Farley said he \u201cfought like a tiger\u201d, and pleaded with people not to put off \u201cgetting attention for this illness\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
