The 84-year-old distraught parent killed himself over the death of his 57-year-old daughter, who was suffering from Covid-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The body was discovered by police in the morning, who also found the dead body of the daughter \u2013 Pranee \u2013 lying on a bed inside the condominium in Bangkok\u2019s Ratchathewi district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While police said Pranee died from Covid, the relatives of the two deceased said the daughter had been unable to get a bed in a hospital and was being treated at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Thailand continues to battle COVID-19 while facing bed shortages and patients often dying in waiting for a bed.
