The incident occurred when the local police set up many diversions across the city for movement of President Ram Nath Kovind\u2019s convoy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mishra had complained of nausea and vomiting and was going to a private hospital when she got stuck in traffic between the Nand Lal intersection and Govindpuri fly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An ADCP level officer would be investigating this incident, Kanpur Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) B B G T S Murthy stated even as the Kanpur Police Commissionerate apologized on Twitter for the death of Mishra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKanpur City Police and I personally seek forgiveness for IIA\u2019s chairperson sister Vandana Mishra\u2019s death,\u201d the tweet stated, while describing the incident as a \u201cbig lesson\u201d for the future and pledging route arrangement that would least affect citizens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
