Grant Maganga \u2013 a Mental Health Nurse at Hurst Place in Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester, Manchester, England \u2013 passed away on 20 April 2020 after suffering from COVID-19. Grant was 56 years old.<\/p>\n

Mr Maganga, who died aged 56, was a mental health nurse at Hurst Place, a rehabilitation unit for men with severe mental illness and complex needs in Ashton-under-Lyme, Greater Manchester.<\/p>\n

Having gained his registration in 2009, he had worked at the unit since it was first established 10 years ago.<\/p>\n

Trust director of nursing Clare Parker described Mr Maganga as an outstanding nurse whose death was \u201canother tremendous loss\u201d to the nursing community.<\/p>\n

\u201cGrant was an exceptional nurse who cared deeply for his patients and lit up the room with his infectious smile and positive personality,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
