Yansi Ayala \u2011 an 11-year-old girl in Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, died from complications of COVID-19 on July 8, 2020 at Broward Health Medical Center.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

She had underlying conditions including cerebral palsy, epilepsy and asthma.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The state’s date said that her infection is not believed to be travel-related.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Ayala was reported to be the youngest Broward resident to die as a result of the virus.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
