Debdatta Roy, the Deputy Magistrate at Chandannagar in Hooghly district of the Indian state of West Bengal – died on July 13, 2020 from Covid-19 complications. The 33-year-old was admitted to Shramojibi Covid hospital in Sreerampur on July 12, 2020 evening. She died on July 13, 2020 morning, a first senior officer of Bengal government to have succumbed to the virus, media reports said. Family claims she had been suffering from fever for the past few days, her Covid test along with her husband's came positive. Initially she and her husband, both had opted for home isolation. Roy Horn Roy Horn, one-half of the popular Las Vegas animal and magic act Siegfried and Roy, died on May 5, 2020, due to complications from the coronavirus. He was 75. Roy Uwe Ludwig Horn and Siegfried Fischbacher began their upbeat performances in Europe, later becoming regulars in Las Vegas, where they performed for four decades. E. Roy Lester an American college and high school football coach died on May 3, 2020 in Rockville, Maryland, at the age of 96. The cause of death was complications of COVID-19. Lester resided in Gaithersburg, Maryland and had four children – three sons and a daughter. After a successful career at the high school level, he served as the head coach of the University of Maryland football team from 1969 to 1971. Lester was the school's fourth head coach in five years, and compiled a 7–25 record during his tenure.
