Odair José, Ambulance Driver
Odair José – an Ambulance Driver at AtendimentoMóvel de Urgência (Samu) (Mobile Emergency Care Service), Porto Velho, Brazil – passed away on 13 May, 2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Jose was 46 years old.
"Today we lost a warrior, Odair, Samu's driver who did a lot for this city, many removals, many lives he helped save," said a co-worker, who was also diagnosed with the coronavirus, but managed to recover.
