PK Muhammad, a Kannur Iritty native, died on June 10, 2020, after battling with coronavirus. He was under treatment for cancer. The 70-year-old was tested positive for COVID-19 on June 10 and shifted to the hospital. Following this, he breathed his last at the hospital.
