Nasir Ajana ‑ a Nigerian judge who served as the Chief Judge of Kogi State – passed away at a COVID isolation centre in Gwagwalada on 28 June 2020. Ajana was born in Okene Local Government Area in Kogi State to MJ Fari Ajanah. Ajana received early education at the Native Authority (Central) Primary School, Okene between 1962 and 1968. In 1969, he enrolled in Federal Government College, Keffi and graduated in 1973. In 1974, Ajana enrolled in the same college for a Higher School Certificate (HSC) finishing in 1975. Ajana earned LLB from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He attended Nigerian Law School and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Sardar Dur Muhammad Nasir ‑ a Pakistani politician who was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan from May 2013 to May 2018 died on 8 June 2020 due to Covid-19. He was born on 15 September 1958 in Duki District, Pakistan. He did Matriculation. He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) from Constituency PB-14 Loralai-I in 2013 Pakistani general election. After Nasir contracted the coronavirus, he isolated himself at his residence in Duki. He was later shifted to a hospital in Karachi when his condition deteriorated, where he died on 8 June.
