Hareswar Nath, a 53-year-old Assam Police personnel, died due to COVID-19 pandemic at IITG COVID care centre on July 10, 2020. The deceased had tested positive for Coronavirus on July 7. Hareswar Nath, 16 IRBn, was a non-symptomatic patient with no co morbidities, However, he later succumbed to COVID 19 at IITG COVID care centre. Yogender Yadav, police constable

Yogender Yadav, a 40-year-old Delhi Police constable who was undergoing treatment for liver related complications at a hospital in New Delhi passed away on July 7, 2020, 12 days after testing positive for COVID-19. Constable Yogender Yadav was posted at Paschim Vihar West Police Station and passed away on Tuesday, news agency PTI quoted a senior officer as saying. He was admitted to Park Hospital on June 12 due to a liver-related ailment and had tested positive for COVID-19 on June 25. He hailed from Balaha Kalan village in Mahendergarh district of Haryana and lived with his family in police colony, Paschim Vihar, the officer said. Amit Kumar, a 32-year-old Delhi Police constable, died on May 5, 2020, hours after developing the symptoms of COVID-19. At least two government hospitals refused to admit him, his colleague alleged.
