Maria de Fatima Castelo Branco – a Physician in Joao Pessoa, Brazil – passed away on 13 April,2020, after suffering from COVID-19. Maria was 60 years old.
She was admitted to a private hospital in the city of João Pessoa, according to information from the Secretary of Health of Paraíba, Geraldo Medeiros.
Also according to Geraldo Medeiros, the doctor had already done the test that detected coronavirus. So far there are no more details about her hospitalization and how the condition has evolved. The doctor worked on the regulation board of the Municipality of João Pessoa.
